The XX has an extraordinary ability to be able to create new and fresh material without compromising their unique style and I Dare You is without a doubt my favourite track off their latest album ‘ I See You’.
Whilst you may not know her name you have definitely heard her voice, RAYE’s vocals have been all over the radio in her recent collaboration with Jax Jones ‘You don’t know me’ and her solo work is definitely worth a listen.
Bellyache is an amazing new single by Eilish and it makes me very excited for the release of her debut album. It’s definitely a different vibe to her earlier singles ‘ocean eyes’ and ‘six feet under’ which are much softer and slower. However, it’s refreshing to find an upcoming young artist who isn’t afraid to venture out of her ‘usual’ style.
If there is one act I am determined to see at Leeds fest this year it’s Sundara Karma and hearing this song live would be insane. As festival regulars, Sundara Karma definitely know how to put on a show and A Young Understanding has ‘festival banger’ written all over it.
High on Humans is probably my favourite song off their new album ‘ultralife’. It has a much more upbeat vibe compared to the rest of the album (which I would recommend you listen to) and is definitely worth a listen.
Start the week off right with these new releases.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock it’s very unlikely you haven’t heard about the release of Lorde’s highly anticipated second album ‘Melodrama’. After the success of the album’s debut single green light, the next single had big shoes to fill and perfect places definitely doesn’t disappoint.
